With
its 11 spindles, the DB 371 D, runs very smoothly at its maximum
speed and still is a very easy to operate and to control machine. Like all
DEAWAY's Digital machines, it only needs a flip of a switch, and you can
change the glass thickness, the desired beveling angle, or the bevel
width, All parameters are indicated in easy to read Digital Displays.
Additionally you also have a record of the total linear meters processed,
and other parameters.
A special DB371-P is also
offered, with a computer screen in which all controls are visually seen,
adjusted and controlled. A computer memory will automatically reset the
machine to previously used parameters, making any repeated job, just
another joke.
All main controls are electrical. The wheel spindles are in direct drive
with very low noise motors and all move at the same time or incline when
making any adjustments. With 7 powerful spindles dedicated to the
beveling and polishing operation, the machine can process at a maximum
speed of 144 inches per minute and its 8th wheel will give the final
edge finishing needed for a perfect work.
Individual Ammeters allow to precisely set and control each one of the
spindles at any time.
The running speed of the machine is easily adjustable at the moto-
variator
